It’s hard to believe that the Super Bowl LIX is only a week away. It will take place at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
One of the parts of the Super Bowl that people look forward to is the halftime show and this year, Kendrick Lamar will be headlining. He is regarded as one of the greatest rap stars of all time, but not everybody is happy about his appearance.
If it seems as if you have seen Lamar performing on the Super Bowl stage before, you are not wrong. During the 2022 halftime show that featured Snoop Dogg, he appeared as a guest star.

The bar will be the one headlining the show in 2025, and many fans are excited. We learned about his appearance in the Super Bowl during a September 2024 teaser trailer that came from the halftime show sponsor, Apple music.
Many people are very happy that Lamar will be front and center during the Super Bowl halftime but not everybody is looking forward to it.
Some people are saying that Kendrick is the GOAT and that he deserves to be on the stage. Others say that they don’t really watch football so it doesn’t really matter to them.
For those who aren’t looking forward to his performance, they say that he is not the best live performer out there. They feel that he just doesn’t have the same passion when he is on the stage.
Everybody will be watching this closely, including Lil Wayne. Many people thought that he would be taking the show and perhaps he had hoped for it as well.
Wayne went on Instagram to open up about his disappointment. He said: “I blame myself for not being mentally prepared for a letdown and for automatically mentally putting myself in that position like somebody told me that was my position.”
He then added: “But I thought there was nothing better than that spot and that stage and that platform in my city, so it hurt.”
I suppose congratulations are in order and we look forward to the game.
