Whoever has ever got lost in the supermarket, and saw their mother come to rescue them can relate, at some extent, to the despair and then the relief this curb felt along this ordeal.Mom risked her own safety because she could also have slipped… I’m always amazed how their powerful jaws, which can easily snap an antelopes neck, is so tender & gentle with her own babies. Melts my heart.
It’s that little growl that does it for me! There is nothing that a real, loving mother wouldn’t do for her babies, but I can just read her mind like all mother’s would think or say at that moment…”boy, what have you gotten yourself into now!!!” Way to go momma and baby!! You heard your little one’s cries for help and there you were momma to the rescue!!! Yay!! Yippee!! The baby was saved!! Now back to hunting..
Glad mom was there to save the day. Love how the lion cub’s siblings cam along to watch. If the cub did fall in, the photographers should be prepared to rescue the baby. With lion numbers dwindling, every little life counts. Lions had a healthy population until humans brought distemper with their herd dogs. Killed 70% of lions in months. So we ARE responsible to make sure every life that can be saved IS saved. This goes for each and every endangered animal.
I just love watching their lioness with her babies all of them is so precious I love seeing him up close to see their little faces here in a little meows and the Daddy’s interacting with their children is so sweet it’s amazing how they’re so bonded with each other the instinct is so strong with them that they’re blessed to be that close to their young even more than humans are animals are amazing truly amazing to where they have such strong instinct to do better than humans but I love watching Linus with their babies and how they they love them and lick them and just take the enjoyment of enjoying their children.
