Wow. The first thing I noticed is how the cat is breathing/ventilating like a dog with tongue out. The heat must be unimaginable. Obviously the cat seems dehydrated, but the reflexes are there. These sand cats are something special! Just on another level! Our house cat once ever fought a snake out of nowhere, and he won. I am just amazed how this cute looking creature has the ability to handle snake despite never met it before. I think it’s already born as their natural ability. But if we think about it again, snake is in disadvantage for face to face combat, it doesn’t have leg.
Damn I hope i can get this out of my head or learn how to handle it. That was extremely amazing , the cat knew from the start that she was going to be able to handle the snake and she had to be on her game.Usually in nature when there is the danger of dying the opponents will avoid each other and kill a smaller weaker creature. I think the location and food scarcity forces the cat to take more chances..
That cat was always on top. 90% of those times the cat jumped wasnt a snake strike but its claw ripping the snake and pulling it towards it. That snake was no where near that fight. Cat was winning from the first blow.In this fight for survival, only one can survive and feed off the other that didn’t… Apart from sharp claws and fast reflexes from the “desert combat” training this puss would have received from its parents, puss also had the advantage of wearing the right coloured Camo gear,so as to blend in with desert colours and not be easily visible to the snake… It was a pretty lethal battle…. The enemy was crushed and puss will no doubt feel entitled to a war medal for courage…
