I know you’re not suppose to intervene with nature, but considered these are endangered species… couldn’t he for once help protect those 5 cheetah cubs and see them grow to maturity just this once. That is rare for a cheetah to have. I do not think it would off set any natural balance considering humans have spent decades wiping these animals close to extinction. We need assurance that cheetahs can regain the population they once had.
I wonder if Kim is related to Harry Wolhuter, the Kruger’s first ranger who successfully defended himself with a knife after being attacked and dragged off by two male lions at night?I always wonder why Mother Nature made female Cheetahs smaller than males when they have to survive alone and protect their young who are mainly vulnerable to male adult Cheetahs.I for one heartily approve the Cheetah’s new tactic.
Cheetahs simply are too dependent on Antelope and it’ll really impact their survival rates if they can diversify. Wouldn’t it be damn cool if Cheetahs started organizing in packs and hunted down prey with pack blitzkreig tactics? Two of them could’ve easily defended against three cheetahs. It took the combined strength of all three cheetahs to just barely taking down ONE FEMALE ostrich. One on one they stand no chance.
Absolute cutest thing I’ve ever seen or heard. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone back to watch this clip. Whenever I feel down or upset, I just watch this. Melts my heart and leaves an ear to ear smile! When you realize that it’s been over 12 years since this video was uploaded on YouTube, and that an average lifespan of a cheetah is about 8-10 in the wild, and about 12-15 in captivity.
