We built this house for elderly parents. By design, the house is simple and consists of light blocks (aerated concrete). The total area of the house is 640 square feet and the exterior dimensions are 18 by 22 feet. We built this house without loans and on a small budget of $17,000. This cost also included the purchase of a piece of land for $2,000. The total budget did not include the cost of workers, since we did all the work ourselves.
I consider myself a jack of all trades but This dude is literally a master of all trades! I wonder if people realize the amount of skill it takes to do all of these sufficiently. Cement, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, sheetrock, flooring, etc…really is amazing. Bin schwer beeindruckt..
It was totally insane. first it felt like an ordinary innovation building initially, but as I continued watching, it was full of fun, teases, and many moments you guys were enjoying. You also knew how to engage your audience well. I hope for more fun videos in the future, like modern buildings, tree houses, and much more. Love from Nepal.
Super impressed by massive skills. Plus working together for so long just shows how committed to each other you are. I wish I had even a tenth of those skills. I think everyone should be taught how to build their own homes. My parents built their own house and it made their relationship even stronger. Kudos to you both. Looking forward to your next adventure!
That was a joy to watch and inspirational. You deserve the fruits of your labour. I think you will do this again on an even bigger scale in the future perhaps. It just shows the what you can achieve when you have the many skills. Sadly most young people today don’t have multiple skills and rely on others to do most jobs which is expensive and less gratifying. Not to mention often sub standard. I am sure such a project had its tiring and stressful moments but you worked as a great team and looked happy. Watching this has made me decide to get on with my garden house project I have spent the last two years thinking about. Thankfully a much smaller scale. Best wishes to you. I am curious, what country is this, I’m guessing somewhere in Eastern Europe?
