Celebrate the end of singledom and the beginning of married life with a fun bachelor party. There are many ways to celebrate, from extravagant trips to Las Vegas to intimate gatherings with close friends. For Mitch White, a relaxing canoe trip with his buddies was the perfect choice. However, the trip took an unexpected turn when they stumbled upon an elderly dog stuck in the mud. The group quickly sprang into action and turned their bachelor weekend into a memorable rescue mission. This experience is one that Mitch will never forget.
On a beautiful day, Mitch, a young man who was about to get married, decided to go on a canoe trip with his closest friends to celebrate his upcoming wedding. The purpose of this bachelor party was to enjoy nature and bond with his friends. What better way to bond than rescuing a dog together?
While the group was having lunch and continuing their journey, Mitch’s nephew, Gaylen Fraenkel, heard a sad barking sound. Since they hadn’t encountered anyone in the area, it was highly unlikely that it was some camper’s dog. The young man decided to turn the canoe around to make sure everything was okay. It was a good thing he did because they found a desperate dog stuck in thick mud and using his last bits of strength to call for help.
Upon closer inspection, they saw that the poor dog was an elderly Saint Bernard. He was very thin and exhausted with a pasty tick attached to his eye. The rest of the group turned their canoes around and jumped in to help. The mud was so deep and thick that everyone sank up to their knees, but they were relentless in their attempt to rescue the dog, using oars as shovels to dig him out.
In summary, Mitch and his buddies were on a canoe trip when they heard barking and discovered an elderly Saint Bernard stuck in mud. They worked together to rescue him despite the challenging conditions…
