The way he turned and stopped growling for a moment just to show that he doesn’t care and a sudden charge, that’s what they do, that’s what they are. Beautiful and powerful beasts, always get amazed to see them.
I have personally experienced the low growl of the tiger in the open forest area at night. We stopped by the road side while driving through the buffer zone at Kabini. Thankfully we switched off lights , kept quiet until the growls subsided. In the pitch black night, we couldn’t see a darn thing but the beast surely saw and smelt us. We then quietly moved on, avoiding the scenario post in this video Brown pants? We were almost there.. Nothing to be ashamed against the worlds deadliest land predator. It deserves that honour.
One thing that’s strikes me most about cats (everything from house to big) is their unpredictability and explosiveness. They deserve a lot of respect, and I’d hate to ever run into one of these. Scientists are still studying it, but they believe that the growl of a tiger (not to be confused with it’s almost meow-like territorial roar) may have the equivalent of an auditory “EMP” that stuns or throws off the balance of the inner ear fluid of it’s target.
