According to the New York Police Department (NYPD), Beadle was traveling eastbound on the highway at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle. The car veered off the right side of the roadway, striking a metal pole, and then veered back across the eastbound lanes to the left shoulder, ejecting Beadle from the vehicle.
